Robert is a BORAQS registered architect and project manager with over 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management. A graduate of the University of Nairobi he has led and contributed to the succesful delivery of multi-million dollar projects across Kenya and Somalia. He is passionate about creating beautiful, timeless spaces that respond to their context while balancing design excellence, functionality, and long-term value. He believes that successful projects are driven by strong leadership, disciplined project management, and meaningful collaboration.

Design Director

A BORAQS-registered architect, Viola brings a unique blend of design expertise, business acumen and artistic vision to ALDB. A graduate of the University of Nairobi's College of Architecture and Engineering, with an MBA from Warwick Business School, Viola's work experience spans various design disciplines, including both architecture and interior design, along with communication design. Her design approach pushes boundaries, reinterpreting African influences for contemporary experiences, resulting in spaces that are both fresh and culturally relevant.

Project Manager

With nearly a decade of experience in project management, civil and environmental engineering, Edward hold a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a focus on Sustainability. He has experience overseeing multimillion-dollar projects, managing labor groups and subcontractors, and ensuring quality control from pre-construction to completion. He has successfully led multi-million dollar projects in Texas, Florida and more recently in Kenya.

Services Engineer

With over 9 years of experience, Abraham has a strong foundation in designing, managing, and optimizing electrical systems across various sectors. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nairobi, his expertise spans across power distribution, electrical system analysis, circuit design, load assessments, system upgrades and implementation of innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency and reliability. He has successfully executed multi-million dollar electrical projects ensuring that all installations meet stringent safety standards.

Structural Engineer

With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi, Fred is a registered engineer with practical experience in design and management of projects ranging from civil infrastructure to structural design of various buildings. He has proven success in client collaboration, offering in depth technical expertise and adeptly managing design teams to deliver intricate projects within budgetary constraints and ahead of schedule.

Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Lead

With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Makerere University and a Masters in International Relations from USIU, Fiona is a seasoned operations, business development and partnerships professional specializing in the real estate industry. With over six years of experience, she has a proven track record of driving growth through strategic collaborations and expanding market presence in both Uganda and Kenya. Fiona brings to ALDB valuable insights into local and regional markets finding new ways to bring creative visions to life through strong partnerships.

Technical Lead

With a Diploma in Architecture from the Technical University of Kenya, Jennedy has 14 years experience across various sectors, including hospitality, education, healthcare, residential, and religious buildings. He is highly proficient in building technology, bringing architectural concepts to life through thorough understanding of execution of construction projects as well asmeticulous and detailed technical drawings, ensuring precision and clarity in every project.

Interior Designer

With a Bachelor's in Architectural Studies, Nicole is an interior designer with experience in large-scale residential, housing and hospitality projects overseeing projects from start to finish, including budgeting and procurement.
